does anyone know what happened to the "crystal clean" line of deodorant made by lady speed stick? it was the best i've ever used and i had a stockpile of it and now that i've run out, it's nowhere to be found... i've looked all over where i live in kansas, and then when i went back to california [where i just moved from, and where i stockpiled on my deodorant, haha] i looked there and i can't find it anywhere. it's probably a little strange, but i also looked on the lady speed stick website and the deodorant is listed as a product, but the links to where to buy it lead to error pages. anyone have any ideas?

i hope someone has some answers for me!

by the way... i'm now addicted to this community. :)

Unique, hand-blended fragrance oils from Beyond the Pale [Jun. 22nd, 2006|08:00 pm]
Product Junkies!

Hullo dahlings, I do hope this is okay to post here. I am such a product junkie that I quit my job to start my own company, Beyond the Pale making fabulous fragrances for brazen hussies & their disreputable beaus... ;-)

Direct links to eBay listings for all the try-me sizes we have left at the moment!

Flummery : Spiced honey dripping slowly from a freshly buttered crumpet. Flummery is an enticing blend of spiced honey; pure creamy vanilla; soft, musky cedar, sultry ginger and the calming, powdery note of benzoin. Serenely alluring, dangerously addictive, smells good enough to eat!

Mollisher's Mark : Utterly feminine, powdery parma violets melt intriguingly into fresh rosewood and pure vanilla, infused with a hint of cinnamon, nutmeg and exotic sandalwood in the pure jojoba oil base. Reminiscent of decadent boudoirs, silk stockings draped nonchalantly over the dressing table- the subtle naughtiness of a bygone era; Mollisher's Mark is a long-lasting, uniquely spiced yet subtly floral fragrance, for ladies with pouty lips and a knowing wink...

Doxy.: DOXY is a darkly fruity blend of blackberry, spice & all things VICE... Juicy blackberries burst with warm hints of ginger, a sprinkle of cinnamon and musky vanilla. The freshness of bergamot whispers of more innocent times, but the richly aromatic, intensely carnal note of vetiver has its wicked way at last...

Please note: This is the LAST of our Mollisher's Mark stock for a while, until we re-order more ingredients!

You can read more about Beyond the Pale on our website, or keep an eye on our selling journal, beyondpale for the latest news & updates... (also, check our eBay feedback to read the glowing reviews from our lovely customers all over the world!)

I tried that Veet razor-less shaving thing. Dang, it works! I hate Nair; it stinks to high heaven and makes my hands all icky. But this stuff was really good. The lotion stays put after you put it on. The only thing is it's kinda hard to clean the razor-less wand thingy and get the cream off for the next pass, but still. It only started to smell icky just as I was finishing. My legs don't feel sticky like with Nair, much softer like lotion. I'd highly recommend it!

This is a review of Pewter from FeMaledictions (since jasper17 wanted to know)

In the vial: blackberries and vanilla

On the skin: Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! The musk and white roses deepen it and pull the scent deeper into a sweetness. Not a sticky sweetness, more like berries and whipped cream with vanilla. It's a girly scent, but a very sophisticated one. Reminds me of riding my bike through the blackberry bushes during July. A good spring/summer scent. I think I'd like to try it in the Shea Butter soaps/cream.

Curel Natural Healing Lotion [Feb. 26th, 2006|09:08 pm]
Product Junkies!

So while I wait for my FeMaledictions order to arrive (very impatiently, I might add), I was at the mecca known as Target today and picked up some Curel Natural Healing lotion.

The scent is honey and vanilla with shea butter. For $6.50, I wasn't expecting miracles but I was hoping for a nice fragrance and maybe some moisturizing properties.

I have to say that with a slightly heavy-handed application, it does what it's supposed to. Maybe TMI but I have the driest skin in the world on my chest, to the point of scratching nearly raw in some places, and this stuff has actually managed to calm it down. Yay for that! Plus my hands and arms are no longer flaky and feel fairly sofy and silky. The fragrace is nice and gentle - it seems like a lot of vanilla-scented products are over the top with vanilla but this lotion is just a tad sweet and lightly honeyed.

Definitely something to keep in the rotation =)
